Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Rosie Fairy

You can almost smell the rose on this pretty card. I used the stamp set by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps called Rosie Fairy.

Copic Color Chart
Rose : R24 R27 R29 R39 R59 R89
Leaves : G21 G24 G94
Wings : N0 N2 N4
Eyes :  B34
Shirt : B21 B23 B34
Skin : E000 E00 E01 E02
Hair : E43 E31 E23 E27

I used a brown gingham patterned paper by Carta Bella in the Let it Snow 6x6 paper pad for the scalloped bottom.

The scalloped bottom border cut was made using the die from Your next Stamp called Wonky Scallop Edge Die YNSD313.

The base was created using Kraft cardstock. I cut a large strip of green patterned paper with cream polka dots I found in the 6x6 paper pad by The Paper Studio called Simplicity No.2. I removed the adhesive backing and adhered to the card above the die cut striped piece.

I cut the colored stamped image using a rectangle die from Sizzix - Stephanie Barnard called dotted rectangles. I matted the piece with the same Kraft cardstock, added foam and adhered to the card. I cut a strip of kraft paper for the diagonal strip added foam below it and adhered the pieces to the card base slipping it just under the image mat.

The sentiment was created using a stamp from Close To My Heart called "For you darling -  Z3375". I used a circle die to cut it out and then cut the top and bottom off added a thin strip of kraft to the back and adhered to another white cardstock circle. I created a border using 2 circle dies and the same brown gingham patterned paper. I added foam to the bottom and adhered to the card then cut off the access.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Allstar

I am not a huge sports fan however I know people who are and this great stamp set is a winner. I enjoyed coloring this card so much and really love how it came out. The set is by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and is called - Allstar.

Copic Color Charts
Football - E13 E15 E19  /  N0
Skin - E00 E01 E02
Eyes - Black E44
Grey - N3 N4 N5
White - N0
Orange - YR04 YR19 E08

For the base I covered the top half using a fun black and words sheet I found in the 6x6 paper pad by Pebbles - Jen Hadfield  called Cottage Living.

For the bottom half I used the black and white triangles from the 6x6 paper pad by Project Life - Becky Higgins - High Five Edition.

I used a lighter orange then the markers so the image would pop, and I cut a piece  approximately 2 inches thick for the mat around the image. I added foam to it and adhered the piece to the bottom of the card leaving 1cm of the triangles showing. I then cut the image out by drawing 2 lines across the page omitting the football player and fussy cut the lines up to the football player and then around the payer and back to the opposite end of the line. I adhere the stamped image onto the orange mat approximately 1/4 inch from the top edge.

I found the 2 sentiments ( You are so wonderful and Make a wish) as well as the arrow in the 6x6 paper pad by Kaisercraft called Daydreamer. This paper pad is really great and I use it time and again. I added a mat using the same orange cardstock and adhered to the card adding foam under the "You are so wonderful) and the overhang of both of the other two.

I finished of the card using XOXO stickers I found in Heidi Swapp's enamel sticker sheet - 312577.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Santa Paws

Today I would like to share a card I made using the "Santa paws" stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. This stamp had been meant for a Christmas card or scrapbooking layout however I had chosen a yellow and black theme rather so I could use this card as a birthday or "just to say hi" card.  For the "Lovely" I used a die from Heidi Swapp. To create the thick chipboard look and feel I die cut black coverstock 5 times and used adhesive to layer the cuts. To color the stamped image I used my trusty Copic markers and finished off with Tim Holtz distress ink to create a floor.
