I used the brand new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Backing Bonanza Stencil for the background and played with the following Tim Holtz Distress Inks : Candied apple, Squeezed Lemonade, Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn, Ripe Persimmon.

The green polka dotted patterned paper is from the Lawn Fawn 6x6 paper pad called the Really Rainbow Christmas.

Sentiment is from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps set called "Happiness is Homemade" which you'll see tomorrow, consider this a bonus sneak peek :)

The snapshot frames die I used is from the Pretty Pink Posh die set called Stitched Photo Frames.

Both rectangle dies are from the Gina K Designs die set called Master Layouts 1.

Your Next Stamp - Mini Tweet Holiday Greetings

Oh so cute... I loved this little chick so much that I made 6 of them. This stamp set is by Your Next Stamp and is called Mini Tweet Holiday Greetings.

CYNS513 Stamp set

Copic Color Chart
Yellow - Y02 Y15 Y38
Beak - YR04 YR18
White - C1
Green - YG11 YG13 YG17
Red - R24 R29 R59
Orange - YR04 YR07 E08
Blue - B21 B23 B24
Light Blue - B00 B02 B04
Aqua - BG11 BG13 BG18

This cheerful winter season card is made up of a few layers.  I started the card by using a medium blue card stock for the base. Then using a bright cobalt blue I cut the windows  using a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs called Garden Patch (1002), adding foam behind this cut out. I then traced the outside edge of the die on school bus yellow paper (to match the chicks) I cut a little on the inside of the traced edge so not to show the yellow on the outside when piecing the card together. I adhered the yellow to the center of the card, adhering the window framed die piece over it.

I found the blue snowflakes paper in the 6x6 paper pad by Bo Bunny called Winter Getaway Collection.

I cut 6 squares out of the snowflakes paper using the smallest square of the Dotted squares Dies by Sizzix - Stephanie Barnard.

I arranged the chicks in each of the windows putting foam under each so they would lay flat. I then chose the "Baby it's cold outside" sentiment from the Tim Holtz quote chips - Christmas #TH93753.

Penny Black - Life is Simpler

This masculine card was made using the slapstick/Cling stamp by Penny Black - Life is Simpler.

The image was stamped on white 110lb cardstock and then colored.

Copic Color Chart
Tractor: R29 R37 R39
Tires: N4 N6 N7 N9 N10
Rims and axel support : N0 N2 N4
Lights: Y11 Y02
Shirt and Hat: B21 B23
Pants and Hair : E23 E25 E27
Skin: YR000 YR00 E02

I stamped the image a second time on Inkadinkadoo Stamping Mask Paper. I then fussy cut the image as closely as possible , covered the colored image and used Tim Holtz distress ink for the sky and ground. To create the glowing line I covered the sky with a fussy cut piece to create the ground line... I used the opposite piece moving it down a bit to then blend the sky and kicked up dirt.

I cut then cut the the image 4 1/8" by 5 3/8". I cut red card stock just shy of 4 1/4" by 5 1/2".

I used a "happy birthday" sentiment stamp and created a border using a slightly larger piece of red card stock. I added foam and adhered to the card base. I added a tiny wood piece.
